PDF Split
Split a PDF into smaller documents. Everything happens inside your browser, so your file is never uploaded.

Splitting methods
- Range
- Keeps the pages you name and produces a single PDF. Accepts single pages and ranges together, so
1-3, 5, 8-10extracts six pages in that order. - Every page
- Produces one PDF per page. Useful for pulling a single page out of a long document, or for handing separate pages to different people.
- By size
- Groups consecutive pages into several PDFs of roughly the size you choose, so no single file is unwieldy to email or upload.
A note on splitting by size
Hitting an exact file size would require re-compressing the PDF, which this tool does not do. Instead it estimates from the average size of your document’s pages and groups pages to stay close to your target. This works well for scanned documents and text PDFs, where pages are similar, and less well when some pages are images and others are blank.
